As an artist whose works of landscape architecture walk hand in hand with large-scale art projects, Sanitas Pradittasnee has a keen interest in the relationships between humans and nature, and the coexistence of two different things and the ever-changing being of things. Such curiosity is combined with a fascination for beliefs and history. In her works, the manmade architectural identity is simplified while the changes in nature are accentuated. Pradittasnee’s artistic creations always embrace viewers’ participation as they are granted the opportunity to observe the constant changes in nature. One of her most memorable projects, ‘Mythical Escapism’ held at Bangkok Art and Culture Center and Park@Siam is the combination of myths and beliefs with modern objects while her installation ‘Equilibrium’ was showcased in Pusan, South Korea.
