Uninspired by Current Events

For BAB 2022, Uninspired by Current Events artworks were shown in both physical and virtual venues, featuring an interactive game and video artwork. The video game featured monuments of Thailand and Bangkok city in the artist's signature style. Visitors were able to navigate the virtual city and interact with the monuments. True to their artistic style, these slick monuments are not to be taken at their face value. They are allegories for the social critique of contemporary politics and events. In the video game, participants will be able to interact with the scenery, however they please unbounded by the social contract and the rule of law, which may bind us in our daily lives.

ใน BAB 2022 อันอินสไปร์บายเคอร์เรนท์อีเวนทส์จะแสดงผลงานทั้งในสถานที่จริงและออนไลน์ มีเกมแบบอินเตอร์แอ็คทีฟและงานศิลปะวีดิทัศน์ ในวีดีโอเกมมีภาพอนุสาวรีย์ต่าง ๆ ของประเทศไทยและกรุงเทพฯ ในสไตล์ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของศิลปิน ผู้ชมงานจะสามารถเดินทางไปทั่วเมืองเสมือนจริงแห่งนี้และมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับอนุสาวรีย์ต่าง ๆ อนุสาวรีย์ซึ่งสร้างภาพขึ้นให้ที่มีสไตล์ทางศิลปะตามสถานที่จริงเหล่านี้ไม่ควรถูกตีความตามที่ปรากฏแต่เป็นการเปรียบเทียบเพื่อการวิจารณ์การเมืองและเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบันต่าง ๆ ในเชิงสังคม ในวีดีโอเกมผู้เล่นจะสามารถมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับฉากสถานที่ต่าง ๆ อย่างไรก็ได้ตามต้องการโดยปราศจากสัญญาประชาคมหรือข้อกฎหมายซึ่งอาจจะจำกัดเสรีภาพเราอยู่ในชีวิตจริง
