Manop Suwanpinta is one of Thailand’s leading sculptors, renowned for his works in both Realist Sculpture and Creative Sculpture. Most of Manop’s works follow a distinctive artistic approach in which the inherent qualities of each work are allowed to stand. They convey an aesthetic beauty through elegance, volume, lines, proportions and the rhythm of light and shadow. In terms of content and subject matter, Manop’s works have an important underlying purpose : to create a balance, according to the laws of nature, between the physical world and the human spirit. For this reason, human figures, both male and female, frequently appear in his works. He often incorporates additional detail, such as revealing the inner structures of organs in the face and body, or integrating various structural elements into the composition-approaches commonly found in contemporary art.

Manop intends his works to communicate with viewers in a way that encourages them to turn inward-to look beyond the surface of themselves and reach toward the spiritual dimension within. Such as awakening may enable us to address both our personal problems and those of society, particularly within a consumerist way of life that tends to focus exclusively on solving material problems. As a result, life becomes imbalanced because the spiritual dimension-on equally important aspect of what it means to be human-is neglected. Past exhibitions include, “Trace of Smile” (Thailand, 2008, “Asia on the Edge” (Singapore, 2009), “Concorso Di Scultura” Museo Pietraia Dei Poeti (Italy, 2015) and several solo exhibitions in Bangkok, Thailand. “The rest of Struggle Soul” (Thailand, 2000), “Here and Here After” (Thailand, 2010), “Unconscious in Memory” Retrospective 30 years (Thailand, 2012), “Reflection of Life” Retrospective 36 Years (Thailand, 2019) and several solo exhibitions in Thailand (2000-2026).
