Mariam Suhail’s work stems from the incidental, undocumented minutia of conversations, media, culture, and the everyday. Resulting in sculpture, video, digital images, text, drawing and books, her work dissects and represents what may exist in the spaces between exchanges, ideas, historical events and daily occurrences. Suhail’s work has been presented at Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai (2025); Ishara Art Foundation, Dubai (2024); Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2022); Office of Contemporary Art, Oslo (2017); Dhaka Art Summit (2016); 56th Venice Biennale (2015) and Berlin Biennale-8 (2014).
