Ong Kian Peng creates immersive environments at the intersection of art, technology, and ecology. Working across film, sound, virtual reality, and electronics, he explores ecological thought, confronting climate change, environmental crises, and the shifting relationship between humans, nature, and machines. His works craft speculative scenarios that invite reflection on humanity’s role in shaping a fragile planet.
Ong’s projects have been featured in the Singapore Biennale (2022), Super-Trajectory (Tainan Museum of Fine Arts, 2019), Negentropic Fields (National Gallery Singapore, 2020), and President’s Young Talents (Singapore Art Museum, 2015). His accolades include the President’s Young Talent Grand Prize (2015) and finalist recognition for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize(2016), Arte Laguna Award(2024), Re:Humanism Art Prize(2025), and the Lumen Prize(2025).
He holds an MFA from UCLA’s Design Media Arts program, supported by the DesignSingapore Scholarship, and is Assistant Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media, NTU.

โครงการขององ เคียน เผิง ได้รับการจัดแสดงในงานสำคัญ อาทิ สิงคโปร์เบียนนาเล่ (พ.ศ. 2565/2022), Super-Trajectory (พิพิธภัณฑ์วิจิตรศิลป์ไถหนาน, พ.ศ. 2562/2019), Negentropic Fields (หอศิลป์แห่งชาติสิงคโปร์, พ.ศ. 2563/2020) และ President’s Young Talents (พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะสิงคโปร์, พ.ศ. 2558/2015) รางวัลที่เขาได้รับ ได้แก่ รางวัลใหญ่ President’s Young Talent Grand Prize (พ.ศ. 2558/2015) และเป็นผู้เข้ารอบสุดท้ายของรางวัลต่างๆ เช่น Sovereign Asian Art Prize (พ.ศ. 2559/2016), Arte Laguna Award (พ.ศ. 2567/2024), Re:Humanism Art Prize (พ.ศ. 2568/2025) และ Lumen Prize (พ.ศ. 2568/2025)
เขาสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทด้านวิจิตรศิลป์ (MFA) สาขา Design Media Arts จาก UCLA โดยได้รับทุน DesignSingapore Scholarship ปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ที่ School of Art, Design and Media, NTU (Nanyang Technological University)
