Ploenchan Vinyaratn is a Thai contemporary textile artist whose work transforms discarded materials into large scale woven installations. Using reclaimed fabrics, aluminum cans, plastics, and industrial remnants, she creates spatial environments that explore the relationship between material memory, environmental systems, and cultural histories.
Her practice expands traditional textile techniques into sculptural and architectural forms that respond to specific sites. Through weaving and assemblage, Vinyaratn reorganizes overlooked materials into immer-sive structures that reflect on cycles of consumption, ecology, and landscape.
Selected works include Adam’s Bridge and Woven Symphony (Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, 2022); Rippling Veil (MOCA Bangkok, 2024); Afterfract (Cheongju Craft Biennale, 2025); You Are Here (Bangkok Climate Action Week, 2025); and Mitta del Santi(Bangkok Kunsthalle, 2025).
She lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand.
