Ri is a lens-based visual artist based in Myanmar. Their work focuses on stories within the queer community, intimate relationships, and narratives connected to their country’s complex political situations. Their projects have been shown at international venues and exhibitions including the Bangkok Arts and Culture Center (2019), the Jakarta Photo Festival (2021), the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2022), and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (2025). They are an alumnus of the Angkor Photo Festival (2019) and a participant in the World Press Photo Foundation’s Joop Swart Master Class (2024).
