Bangkok Art Biennale 2026 Opens Creative Space with BAB TALK & Workshop
The Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation recently organised “BAB TALK & Workshop”, an engaging programme inviting participants to explore contemporary art and gain insight into the creative process with Shin Min, a South Korean artist participating in the Bangkok Art Biennale 2026 (BAB 2026). Held under the theme “Angels and Mara”, the event took place at BAB Café, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).
During the event, Shin Min shared insights into the concepts, inspirations, and creative process behind her work, while workshop participants were given the opportunity to learn and engage directly with the artwork through the artist’s perspective.

“I am delighted and excited to be participating in the Bangkok Art Biennale 2026. This time, I am not simply bringing a work from Korea to be exhibited. I have had the opportunity to live in Thailand, meet people, and create the work together with students and local communities. As a result, the work contains my ideas, the people I have met, the time we have shared, and the relationships that have developed throughout the creative process.
