The BkkArtBiennale 2026 returns with the theme “ANGELS & MARA”, bringing together artists from around the world to explore the tensions between light and darkness, hope and despair, virtue and temptation.

The Italian Cultural Institute Bangkok is pleased to support this major international event, which continues to strengthen Bangkok’s role as a leading platform for contemporary art and cultural dialogue in Southeast Asia.

Among the newly announced participants are two Italian artists, Piero Golia and Renato Leotta, whose practices contribute to the rich exchange of ideas between local and international artistic perspectives.
